Richard Scarry's Busy Busy Winter

Richard Scarry’s Busy Busy Winter takes us to Busytown after a snowfall, when its animal residents are bundling up and heading outside to play. It’s a good one to read together after coming in from the cold, while boots and mittens dry by the door.

Scarry illustrated more than 150 books during his career, but a favorite detail about him is that whenever someone asked his age, he would hold up one hand and answer, “Five!” You can see that same delight in this story about a snowy day.
