On special exhibit in the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City this spring are the paint studies of Harry Anderson. Anderson was commissioned by the Church to create a series of monumental, multi-figure paintings of the life of the Savior. The paintings have become iconic Latter-day Saints images. The paint studies served as Anderson's preliminary sketches before beginning the full-size paintings; each is a tender view of an artist's first efforts to capture beloved, holy moments. This series of rare prints of the paint studies are true to size and printed with giclee on watercolor paper.
