These straw ornaments are traditional in Scandinavian countries. They are beautiful and delicate but also have a bit of a country flair. Putting ornaments on the tree is one of the best parts of Christmas. When each one has a story and memories attached to it, opening the box of ornaments is something like opening a photo album. These ones remind me of my Scandinavian ancestry and I feel that putting them on the tree is a way of connecting to them.
