"To the side of this stream there were three scare crows make out of logs. Birds were flying on these rocks and landing on the scare crows. They obviousley weren't doing a good job at scaring them away. I was right by duck greek village and while I painted I could hear the church bells ring. It was Sunday and I recognized one of the tunes as 'Nearer my God to thee," I am always amazed at how blue water can be where it reflects the zenith of the sky."
