We love beautiful practical things, like this cutlery drainer. I have been using mine since they arrived last week, and I regret how long I have lived without it. As with most of the items we bring in, it also has a history. This hardwearing stoneware is made in Stoke-on-Trent, the pottery capital of Britain. The giant brick pottery kilns are a part of the landscape. The design for this cutlery drainer is modeled on traditional old cheese moulds. It is glazed on the inside, but the exterior is left unglazed giving it a matte finish. We also have some matching stoneware storage canisters if you are interested in the whole set.
